Sri Lanka Earthlanka Youth Network
EarthLanka Youth Network is slowly yet steadily beginning to expanding its outreach and form strategic partnerships with likeminded organizations and individuals through the youth online community , working with young network under EarthLanka which was registered under Central Environment Authority, Ministry of Environment Sri Lanka since 2010. The online EarthLanka youth network which has been working in actively since 2015 as an individual body now registered as EarthLanka Youth Network (Guarantee) limited working heavily with young people in recognizing them in the society and to bring up their initiatives for the development in Sri-Lanka.

Durante 2017 organizamos la primera actividad de conmemoración de Act4SDGs con un chat en Twitter sobre la juventud y la justicia climática. Desde 2018 participamos en la campaña Act4SDGs para promover la igualdad de género en las ciencias del mar. Este año, 2022, celebraremos la campaña Act4SDGs en Sri Lanka a través de una acrobacia submarina dirigida por mujeres. la actividad tendrá lugar en la costa oriental de Sri Lanka. La acrobacia submarina también ayudará a promover los hermosos arrecifes de coral que se han visto afectados por el fenómeno de El Niño.
Objetivo principal
Implementación del ODS 14 en Sri Lanka.
Movilizar a los jóvenes para dirigir la conservación costera y marina.
Promover la participación de las mujeres en las ciencias del mar.
Restauración de ecosistemas marinos.
Concienciación en las escuelas sobre el ODS 14.
Promover la alfabetización oceánica
